‘Extra Time’ at Brookburn Primary

Welcome to Brookburn ‘Extra Time’

After school clubs start the week beginning 16th September and run for 11 weeks.

We are now 3 weeks into our ‘Extra Time’ provision for this term…have a look at how the children have been using their free time!

I think a swimming club might be nice as an after school activity

    Brilliant ideas!

Natasha, I am looking into cheer leading at the moment for Y5 and Y6.

Fatima and Reeyah, Reading club sounds great! Would you all read your own books and do activities on them or would you want to read the same book and share thoughts on it?

Darcy and Louis, outdoor skills sounds fun! It might be getting a bit cold and dark for the next term, but by the Summer term, our Den area should be ready and provide the perfect place for this club.

I would like to have an outside activity club because it gets children outside and helps people to know how to survive in the wild. In other words this club is called survival club. I think there should be activities like sitting round a home made campsite.

i have had an idea of a den making club. I think that it will help people to go outside instead of playing inside and on vidio games.
